Club Fair 2026 Strengthens Students’ Extracurricular Abilities

Seeking to empower students by fostering their skills beyond the classroom, the Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College (OLOPSC) Junior High School Department successfully held its annual Club Fair 2026 on June 24 at the OLOPSC Gymnasium. The event was organized through the collaborative efforts of the Junior High School Students’ Organization (JHSSO) and the Coordinator for Student Activities (CSA), Mrs. Pia Velasquez.
To ensure a smooth and organized registration process, service teams were assigned to every club and grouped into various clusters, including Academics, Sports, Livelihood, and Spiritual Living. These teams guided students in exploring organizations that matched their interests and talents.
To maintain order during registration, the JHSSO implemented the "Red Light, Green Light" system before students proceeded to their selected clubs. Students submitted their confirmation slips to the assigned service teams, ensuring an efficient and orderly registration process.
"I am very happy with the success of our Club Fair this school year. It gave our students the opportunity to explore their interests and learn about the different clubs in our school," shared Mrs. Pia Velasquez, Coordinator for Student Activities.
The annual Club Fair continues to serve as an avenue for students to discover their passions, develop new skills, and actively participate in school organizations that contribute to both their academic and personal growth.
Ysabella Verano, a member of the Creative Hands service team, emphasized the value of student organizations in developing learners beyond the classroom.
"These clubs help enhance students' talents and skills by expanding their knowledge in various sports and activities. They encourage students to explore different hobbies, discover new interests, and develop abilities that may guide them in choosing future career paths."
As one of OLOPSC's annual traditions, the Club Fair reflects the school's commitment to holistic student development by promoting leadership, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning. The Coordinator for Student Activities also shared plans to further strengthen the school's extracurricular program through future enhancement initiatives that will continue to enrich students' experiences beyond academics.
